Food Channel had a chef that wanted fresh herbs for his restaurant so he took milk crates lined with soil block and filled with potting soil and he was growing herbs on his patio. I am trying that method with my basil and cilantro so I won't have to fight the weeds and I can control the watering easier. I tried to post with wordpress but the website wouldn't let me so I posted as anonymous.
